My hedge trimmers are so old, they finally gave out. Since it has been quite some time since I bought a pair, I wanted to know which brand and style is the best. I want to be able to trim bushes, but also snip tree limbs that are small.
I went with an electric hedge trimmer last year from Black & Decker. I can use it for small limbs and bushes, as well as the shrubs that I need it for. It was just as much money to get manual clippers from a good brand. Most of what you find in the stores don't last very well.
I need a new pair of hedge trimmers, too. I have always used manuel hedge clippers, so what are the pros and cons to an electric one. I like the fact that I feel like I am in control with a manuel trimmer, I am afraid I might get all crazy with an electric trimmer and hack my bushes apart.
